4.Wachau Valley Day Tour with Wine Tasting

★★★★★★★★★★4.8 · 9 hours · from $234

Travel from Vienna in a small group of up to eight, taste Austrian whites at two wineries, explore Dürnstein, and cruise the Danube from Spitz to Melk in summer. Guides such as Marco, Regan, Camillo, and Philippe add wine knowledge and local context. In winter, the cruise is replaced by Melk Abbey.

“This was a great day trip. Regan our guide was very knowledgeable and kept it fun. They pick the wineries each time so I would imagine its a bit different every now and then. We particularly liked the first winery before we hit Durnstein. It can get to feel a little long by the end of the day but was a great way to see some of the country side. And the longest you are in the car is about an hour so that was nice (as opposed to a long bus tour!)”
