Spend three hours aboard the MS Blue Danube, MS Vindobona, or MS Wien for a dinner cruise through Vienna. You’ll receive a sparkling aperitif, choose one of three main courses, and watch the city lights from the deck. German and English-speaking crew members host the evening.

You will cruise canals before reaching the Danube, enjoy sunset views from the upper deck, and order freshly prepared Viennese dishes, including house-made schnitzel, from Roman Loos’s onboard restaurant.

Enter Schönbrunn Palace after closing for a self-guided audio tour, eat a three-course Austrian dinner nearby, then hear Mozart and Strauss in the Orangery. Choose your concert seat carefully, since the hall is flat and the best views cost more.

Ride through Vienna after dark on a one-hour panoramic bus tour from the State Opera. An audioguide in 16 languages explains the Ringstrasse landmarks, while music fills the ride. You’ll see Parliament, City Hall, Belvedere Palace, the museums, and the Giant Ferris Wheel without walking between sights.

Start at Schönbrunn Palace for a self-guided audio tour in one of 16 languages, then walk to a nearby restaurant for roast beef, soup, and apple strudel. Finish with Mozart, Strauss, and two opera singers at the Orangery or Great Gallery. Choose Category A or VIP for better concert seating and extras.

Spend 3.5 hours on the MS Kaiserin Elisabeth, cruising Vienna’s Danube at sunset with a changing buffet, one cocktail, and live music. You’ll see the Donauplatte, Danube Tower, and Millennium Tower. Staff speak German and English, but this is not a guided sightseeing cruise with regular English commentary.

Spend one hour hearing the Emperor Quartet Vienna perform Mozart, Bach, Schubert, and Haydn inside Capuchin Church near the State Opera. Choose the combo ticket to visit the Imperial Crypt before the concert, or attend a seasonal Christmas program with carols and trumpet music.
“Fantastic little concert inside a beautiful church. They open the doors 15 minutes prior to the concert, the line start much earlier. Visited the crypt first, then dinner across the street at Schnitzel One so that we could quick be back. Fantastic night.”
